Thank you for your interest in the Swim-With-Me swimming programme.

Swim-With-Me is a small family business run by husband & wife team Tracie and Jean-Michel and was established to meet the growing need for high quality swimming lessons in the UK. Working closely with the British Governing Body for swimming, The Amateur Swimming Association, and through an ongoing training programme for our instructors we can provide the most up to date teaching skills available.  As an accredited training centre of the Institute of Swimming Teachers we also run courses for qualifying teachers and assistants.  With the growing success of Swim-With-Me we are now operating in Essex, London, Hertfordshire and Surrey and are looking for more expansion during 2010/2011.

Swim-With-Me is not only working towards helping as many people as possible to learn to swim, but we also encourage the need for a healthy active lifestyle in today’s society. We believe that learning to swim is a skill that will last a lifetime and that no person should go without. Our classes are taught in a friendly environment and our approach to teaching is based on creativity and fun. Our goal is to create a lasting, positive impression on both our students and their parents that will last long after our classes have finished. A safe and friendly environment is very important for people to learn to swim which is one of our main priorities. We give encouragement to all students to reach their maximum potential, whilst reinforcing safe practices and awareness of their swimming environment.

The high ratio of teacher:pupil means that each child receives maximum care and attention at all times and ensures an enhanced rate of learning, along with our water based instructors who help to promote a greater confidence in the student and aid in their ability to learn whilst having fun.  We love to hear children laugh and enjoy their time with us, see children excited to swim and to watch as the most nervous child swims their first 5 meters confidently. A course of lessons is made up of ten or twelve, thirty minute sessions, giving the student the opportunity to repeatedly practice their new found skills.  We use the ASA National Teaching Plan, which is recognised throughout the country, for acknowledging all the skills that are achieved by our swimmers through our programme.  These awards are assessed on a continual basis and are awarded only when the instructor is certain that the skills required can be covered and repeated with ease, thus ensuring that every parent is fully aware of their child’s abilities.

Learning to swim with us is not only fun but will open many doors to further water based activities like, Synchronised swimming, Water polo, Diving, Snorkelling, Scuba diving and many many more............

 Have fun !
