Please do not be concerned to see that your child uses floats and woggles in their lessons.
Floats and woggles are used as a buoyancy aid which when learning to swim gives support to a swimmer in the water whilst they work on a particular part of the body/stroke. It is not a step backward, it provides a helping hand.
Even Olympic swimmers use floats or buoyancy aids at times to isolate parts of the body to help with improvement on a specific part of stroke technique.
