FAQ

My child can swim - why are you using floats?

Please do not be concerned to see that your child uses floats in their lessons.  Floats are used as a buoyancy aid which when learning to swim gives a non swimmer the confidence to work on the basics of learning to swim, and for a swimmer helps to support them in the water whilst they work on a particular part of the body/stroke.  It is not a step backwards, it provides a helping hand. Even Olympic swimmers use floats or buoyancy aids at times to isolate parts of the body to help with improvement on a specific part of stroke technique.
